Home care improves quality of life by enabling individuals to stay in the comfort and security of their own homes during times of illness, disability, and recuperation.

Pepin County Nursing Service has been a certified Home Health Provider since 1967. Our experienced, compassionate, and dependable caregivers bring quality health services directly to your home. Pepin County Nursing Service provides services throughout Pepin County.

Our goal is to work with each patient to achieve and maintain his or her highest possible individual level of independence, dignity, well-being, and physical potential in a safe, comfortable, home environment.

SERVICES:

Skilled Nursing

• Assessment & teaching for disease management
• Medication management – setup, administration, follow-up
• Wound care
• Infusion therapy

Home Health Aide

• Assistance with medical tasks as delegated by R.N.
• Assistance with personal care needs
• Assistance with incidental services for staying at home

Therapy

Physical Therapy:

• Evaluation and treatment for strengthening and mobility
• Gait training
• Instruction on in-home exercises
• Wound care

Occupational Therapy:

• Evaluation and treatment for in-home safety and training
• Activities of daily living training
• Instruction on use of adaptive equipment

Speech Therapy:

• Evaluation and instruction for communication
• Instruction on exercises to improve speech

Personal Care

• Assistance with personal care needs and activities of daily living (ADL’s)
• Assistance with incidental services for staying at home

Supportive Home Care

• Assistance with light housekeeping, food preparation or laundry
• Respite

FEES:
Pepin County Nursing Service accepts the following payment sources:

Assessment and eligibility are determined on an individual basis.

Individuals may privately pay for services. A sliding fee scale is used to determine the cost for services based upon the individual’s estimated annual income.
