Benefit
specialists are advocates trained to help senior citizens age 60 or older gain
access to entitlements, benefits, and legal rights.
Benefit Specialists are often referred to as “red tape cutters”
because they are experts in helping senior citizens with the extensive and
complicated paperwork that is often required for public and private benefit
programs.
