TOGETHER WE CAN FILL THE BUS; AND FILL THE SHELVES

Help us fill the shelves for local families affected by the FoodShare delay!

Pack the Bus for Pepin County!

The delay in FoodShare benefits means many local families could use a little extra help. Pepin County Human Services is partnering with organizations, businesses and community groups to “Pack the Bus” with food and essential items for our local food pantries.

📅 When: November 5th - November 19th 2025

We will be taking care of picking up the donations from the different sites and delivering the donations to the local food pantries in Durand and Pepin.

Bring your donations of nonperishable food or household goods to help our neighbors in need.

Together, we can fill the bus – and fill the shelves! ❤️

Local businesses and organizations, please consider creating your own food drive challenge to encourage your staff/members to join in support of our community!

Please check back often as this page will be continually updated as soon as we learn new information.

Ruby's Pantry

Ruby’s Pantry is a non-profit food-share ministry serving communities across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and North Dakota.

With no income or residency requirements, anyone who eats is welcome to attend one of their monthly “Pop-Up Pantry” events, make a $25 donation, and receive a generous bundle of groceries sourced from surplus food and over-production.
The program helps participants stretch their grocery budgets while also reducing food waste, and it’s entirely volunteer-run and not government-funded.
