Highway Department

2026 SPRING WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS WILL END MONDAY APRIL 13TH.  BE AWARE, SOME INDIVIDUAL TOWN ROADS MAY REMIAN POSTED PER AUTHORITY OF THE TOWNS.

Reasons the public may contact the Highway Department:

• Check on the winter road conditions throughout the County
• Check on the road weight limit bans
• Ask questions on the construction schedule throughout the County
• Apply for a driveway permit
• Notify us that a highway sign is damaged or down
• Notify us that there is a flaw in the road or it is being obstructed by something, such as a downed tree
